The Many Angles of Hadron Production
We start with introducing the pQCD framework for inclusive hadron production based on collinear factorization and review the latest status of theoretical calculations, their limitations and uncertainties, and how they compare with data. Next, we discuss some of the complications that arise from turning this fairly well understood one-dimensional framework into a correlated 2+1-dimensional problem. We also touch upon fragmentation in a nuclear medium and the prospects to further our understanding of hadronization at a future Electron-Ion Collider.
