Abstract:

The Dominant Reaction Pathways (DRP) approach is a framework aimed at the efficient computation of the statistically most significant folding pathways connecting given denatured protein configurations to the native state, at an atomistic level of detail, with realistic force fields. In my talk I will outline the basic features of the method and give accounts of our most recent results, regarding the folding of a natively knotted protein and the conformational transition of a serpin.
