Amplitude Analysis for Hadron Spectroscopy Experiments
Numerous experiments devoted to hadron spectroscopy are currently underway e.g. COMPASS and BESIII, or are planned for the near future e.g. GlueX and CLAS12 at Jefferson Lab, and PANDA at GSI. Those new generations of high statistics and precision experiments demand a level of detailed partial wave decomposition and amplitude analysis never achieved before. In this talk I explain how S-Matrix constraints (unitarity) and Regge theory can be applied in the parametrization of low and high partial waves. Analyticity via finite energy sum rules relates these two regions.
